It’s fair to say that Stylish condo got off to a rip-roaring
start. With the well-thought-of and firmly established local property developer Siam Real Estate Solution running the show, there was naturally no scarcity of glitz ‘n’ glam at the launch party back in November 2012.
The more serious business of construction got going in July of the following year with the ceremonial laying of the foundation stone and the project as a whole sewn up during the summer of 2016.
Modern through and through in looks and personality, the low-rise “high quality” Stylish Chiang Mai presents an unmissable opportunity to reapfine living in a fashionably elegant and sophisticated abode standing at the geographic juncture of several of the city’s most notable localities.
LOCATION is always important!
Set on a more than two rai (around a third of a hectare) parcel of land beside the mid-section of Klong Chonprathan [Canal Road], Stylish condo lies not a 500m amble from the Suan Sak campus of the largest education institute in all of Northern Thailand, Chiang Mai University; occupying in the region of three square kilometres of partially wooded grounds, the uni’s peppered with dozens of cafeterias and canteens, coffee shops and bakeries at student prices not to mention a five-floored central library starring free-to-use desktop computers with AIS wireless internet and the downright splendiferous Ang Kaew lake directly behind which the jungly terrain of Doi Pui mountain.
Close by CMU’s main (northern) gate on Huay Kaew Road is Malin Plaza; the whereabouts of the multi-zone Chiangmai Complex with its characterful evening pop-up market, Kad Na Mor, rife with discount fashion wear and accessories as well as a goodly food court and restos dishing up domestic, Asian and international flavours. Directly ahead, the leafy Thai suburb of Chang Khian home to some sterling farmers’ markets and many an undisturbed green corner.
Conveniently walkable from Stylish Chiang Mai in five minutes tops and a point of interest for location-independent professionals, Hub53opened its doors in December last year and represents one of the newest additions to the city’s prolific co-working scene.
Then, for the high-fliers, simply cut through Suk Kasame Road to hit up Chiang Mai’s dappest domain, Nimman; stuffed full of swanky bars and nightclubs, cosmopolitan eateries, kooky cafés and, at Rin Kham interchange, the patently twenty-first-century and never-endingly popular Maya Lifestyle shopping mall.
Cool ON-SITE FACILITIES
Peerless in its provision of security, the sole way into and out of Stylish condo is firstly barriered and guarded non-stop. Next, an array of CCTV cameras detect all happenings in common areas and a high-tech electronic keycard setup limits entry to the grounds, condo buildings and even to individual levels via the twin floor-lock lifts [elevators]. On top of which, each and every condo unit is fit out not just with a three-way Samsung digital door lock but, inside the room and from the same manufacturer, also a touch-screen videophone that residents can use to communicate in real-time with their guests in whichever of the respective lobbies!
At the moment, the one juristic person is on hand in building A from 9AM to 6PM daily except Tuesdays though a second in building B is planned for the near future. While the Stylish Chiang Mai’s singular commercial unit is currently awaiting a would-be tenant. Amounting to a handsome 60% of the total residential capacity, parking is mostly under cover with separate bays for cars and motorcycles. Equally generous, shared WiFi isn’t only complimentary but installed across all floors or, if condo inhabitants prefer, a private fibre-optic broadband connection can be gotten from either of 3BB or Sinet Internet Service Providers.
Recreational amenities in the form of the “Stylish Club” are no less laudable. Integrating a nice, big outdoor infinity-edge saltwater swimming pool trimmed with wood-panelled sun deck, a minimally appointed but bright and restful communal “Sky Lounge” not to mention a “training room” supplied with an assortment of fitness machines and free weights still in an absolutely pristine state.
Just what are the ROOM TYPES, LAYOUT & SPECIFICATION
Stylish Chiang Mai constitutes a pair of 7-storey residential buildings: Tower A with 55 1 bedroom units offering 42 to 56 sq m of useable space and, furthest from the main drag, the 44 roomed Tower B with 1 bed units of 55 sq m, 2 bed units between 61 and 94 sq m plus a single 2 or 3 bedroom penthouse suite at a super-sized 122 sq m!
