Ready to buckle down to The 8 Condo’s DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT?
Thanks massively to the smash comedy flick ‘Lost in Thailand’, the Chinese are now head and shoulders the biggest investors in the Northern Rose’s condo market. And soundin’ remarkably like the word to make a fortune, few object’s are more prized among folk from the Middle Kingdom than those bearing lucky number eight. Clearly it did the trick with the auspiciously digited The 8 Condominium seeing as at the project’s ‘VIP Sneak Peek’ back in March 2017, a third of the available condo units were snatched up within an hour by buyers from China!
Actually assemblin’ The 8 Condo got cracking some three months later before opening officially in mid-June just gone then walking off with the accolade of ‘Highly Commended’ Best Residential Development Chiang Mai at this year’s Thailand Property Awards. Crafted by The 8 Estate hand in hand with the RK Group and the Chiang Mai crew of internationally acclaimed Architects 49, what ain’t the stuff of superstition is that the intimately scaled twin four-storey buildings of The 8 Condo are structurally and interiorly modern in concept, deluxe in nature and contemporary in vibe.
A ‘prime LOCATION in the multi-cultural community’!
Set away from the crowds on a shade over one and a half rai (roughly a quarter of a hectare) of land along Taewan Road, The 8 Condo sits just inside the one-to-watch neighbourhood of Santitham. Steadily evolvin’ but still a predominately local neck of the woods, residents can foray into the nabe’s sprawl of sois [lanes] and within pedestrian minutes happen upon a bounty of mom-and-pop shops, convenience stores, fresh markets and coffee corners not to mention Santitham Plaza’s strip of high-spirited after-hours dive bars and eateries!
At the same time, the condo stands footsteps from the southbound carriageway of the Super Highway and beyond little more than half a klick to Rin Kham Intersection. Whereabouts of the out-of-this-world Maya mall with its three times a week ‘NightOut’ flea market, ton of retail outlets and restos, Rimping Supermarket, food courts, state-of-the-art multiplex cinema [movie theatre], round-the-clock Creative And Meeting Place library café, MAXX Professional Fitness studio and on the roof (‘Nimman Hill’), several society sky bars pumpin’ out live tunes with a viewing deck to watch the sun sink against the mountainous Doi Suthep-Pui National Park!
For extra foraging prospects, shoppin’ hits and entertainment activities, right across the junction is town’s most hip and fashionable destination, Nimmanhaemin Road; bulging at the seams with no end of refuelling spots and fully-fledged co-working hangouts in the company of many an art gallery, health and wellness clinic and, come the evening, the swishest beer, wine and cocktail lounges!
Positively top-notch all-inclusive ON-SITE AMENITIES!
Reassuringly endowed with advanced security amenities, the one-and-only approach to The 8 Condo is boom barriered, manned without interruption and, as throughout all shared areas, monitored by the latest hi-definition CCTV cameras. Plus the added safeguard of an electronic keycard system managing access not justto the premises, but also to each building’s main doors, single ‘Smart Control’ lift [elevator] and, mounted with a ‘finger touch’ digital door lock, individual condo units.
All outside and uncovered, ground floor car parking totals 30% of the condo’s maximum occupancy with separate bays for motorbikes. Streetside in building A, a handful of what’s expected to become ‘lifestyle retail shops’ though at the moment, a coupla commercial units are vacant while the rest are taken up by the sales office. In building B behind, a juristic office worked from 8:30AM to 5:30PM daily except Sunday and a swankily appointed communal lobby fitted up with free-to-use super fast fibre-optic WiFi.
Recreational-wise, The 8 Condo boasts a 24-hour indoor gym provisioned with cutting-edge exercise gear and in the midst of its appealingly landscaped courtyard, a uniquely created and really rather lovely open-air saltwater pool complete with integrated jacuzzi jets!
Presentin’ the TYPES, LAYOUT & SPEC OF RESIDENTIAL UNITS at The 8 Condo!
Of the condo’s sum of 61 suites, the lion’s share exist as 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom pads and although sleeping quarters aren’t wholly closed off from the open-plan living/dining/kitchenette, offer either 38 or 42 sq m of combined habitable and balconied space. Limited to building A are the more liberally sized 60 sq m 2 bed, 2 bath and 90 sq m 3 bed, 2 bath units with amalgamated living/dining/kitchen and wide glass-railed private terrace.
Featuring all but full height and width windows letting in bags of natural light, The 8 Condo’s units are furnished, equipped and air-conditioned in their entirety. And exactly as catchworded, internal décor’s a picture of cosy, chic elegance yet functional with a balance of domestic and imported quality brand materials as well as novel touches such as power sockets that accept international plugs!
